Tactical backpacks are commonly used by our armed forces to carry their tactical gear needed for different military mission and tasks. These tactical bags are highly regarded for their extreme durability and reliability. They are generally larger and tougher than normal backpacks and have special compartments including compatibility with hydration systems.
First came in touch with Spec Ops was a year ago while searching for some US made outdoor pack online. Came to know about Spec Ops at that moment, Spec Ops Recon Ruck really attracted me as it is build on a old school military (ALICE -All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) style. Someone who always like the ALICE pack will love this pack as the material is tougher then the original older brothers. Size almost the same as the medium pack, as far as concern, managed to store all my gears into Recon Ruck as I did to my old ALICE pack. When going into a longer trip, a standard ALICE frame will make the job much easier and bring more comfort to your back. Had tried frames from Blackhawk and Tactical Tailor. Both are a higher grade and much lighter frame which could fit into the Recon Ruck. At this moment, do not have any cons about this pack except due to the colors available from Specs Ops. The rest are all perfect as I would comment about this pack.
